This CD contains the page images and searchable text from three booklets published nearly a century ago by the Southern Pacific Railroad to encourage travel on its southern and central transcontinental lines.
Another two booklets promote the Southern Pacific Atlantic Steamship Lines, connecting to the SPRR rail terminus at New Orleans.
Also included is The Land Living Color, a collection of illustrations from Sunset Magazine which vividly show the sights along the routes of the railway.
