500-page History of Sacramento County, California. The authors
thoroughly documented the history of settlement and development of the
City of Sacramento and the outlying townships.
The 294 pages
of text and 221 engravings give a comprehensive look at the county, and
its citizens, its organizations, and its industries in 1880. The
